I have been painting for most of my life. My earliest memories revolve around creating little artworks as a 5-year-old. Growing up, I decided to pursue psychology. I earned awards for state and national leadership, as well as honors as a psychologist.   I have been in the practice of psychology in Summit, NJ for over 40 years and I am also on the professional staff at Overlook Medical Center. Through my hard work and efforts, I have become a trusted speaker for the media regarding advice on mental health and psychology.


Despite my busy professional life, my love for the arts never waned. I continued to paint, even drawing inspiration from my work as a psychologist. My experience with matters of the mind shaped my art techniques. This has enabled me to use colors and materials in evoking feelings and moods that we often hide deep inside us. My primary goal in painting is to create something simple and serene, yet meaningful.

I am a member of several art societies located in New Jersey. My oil paintings have been displayed in exhibitions in the Paper Mill Playhouse, New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Rutgers University, Mountainside Library, Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, Palmer Museum of New Jersey, and Jadite Gallery in NY as well as other galleries. Roughly fifty of my paintings can be found in privately-owned collections.
