Dynamic Abstract Paintings: Spacescapes (2020)

"As with many sky enthusiasts, my interest originated in childhood. I don't remember a key moment, but I do remember being very interested in space at about the age of 6. When I was in college I took several courses in astronomy, bought a telescope which I still use and became enamored with the Milky Way the expanding universe and nebulae. Years later images of the universe taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and more recently NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory which was launched aboard the space shuttle Columbia have captured my artistic sensibility. Astronomy combined with my passion for painting formed the basis for this series of new works which artistically express all that the universe offers us."  ~ Roz Dorlen

SPACESCAPES are painted in oil on canvas. and range from 20" x 20" to 40" x 40"
